A mother's musings...
Today I don't seem to be able to get anything done, though my list of 'thing's to do' grows bigger by the second. I often seem to measure my progress in life by the things ticked off on the list. What I should probably consider are the things I accomplish that are never written down - today I :
- Read my scriptures, it was a really nice way to start the day.
- Wiped Nathaniel's 'snotty' nose more times then I care to recall.
- Kissed my husband and told him how much I love and appreciate him.
- Stayed calm when my oldest son recalled his bad behaviour at school.
- Pondered the effectiveness of a YW activity I ran yesterday evening, and determined that I would make some changes within myself to make it better next time.
- Did some washing and carefully made dad's bed with new sheets.
- Patiently corrected my two year old when he shouted at me.
- Tidied a little.
- Looked after my daddy.
I guess I have accomplished something after all. And the day isn't over, there is still time to get back to the other list.

Sometimes, I make a list at the end of the day, and write down all the things I did, and then check them off. It sounds silly, but it makes me feel better about my efforts. I think your time is well spent.
Ahh Em you re brilliant.
