Look what we found today in our bin store...
What a little beauty, and if you want to find out more about the peacock butterfly go here. It must have been in there hibernating over the winter months - yep butterflies hibernate, (didn't know that until today) they do live longer than a few days! So this little thing had been in our bin store all winter long (hope it was cozy in there), but the pretty display wasn't really for our benefit, this particular butterfly assumes this position when he is politely saying 'Get Lost!'

But what a lovely way to tell people to leave you alone! I saw my first butterfly of the season just the other day. I'm so ready for Spring!
