I needed to practice some new camera settings this evening, and needed something to practice on - my boys were less then happy. Tayler struggled to open his eyes.

Nathaniel had to think about it.

Jarom joked around.

But the cake stayed perfectly still, showed my it's best side, and knew that it didn't need to smile at the camera or say 'cheese' for me to take the perfect picture.
