Our first few days of the holiday

We've had a great first few days of the holiday. It started with my uncles coming to visit us on Saturday and us all going to the helidays show at the sea front on Weston's beach lawns. We watch the most amazing ariel displays and the boys got the opportunity to check out the helicopters up close. Nathaniel was more interested in checking out the ice-cream though.

Today Tayler enjoyed meeting up with his friend in the Ashcombe Park, Jarom enjoyed playing with Dominic his cousin. Tayler, Nathaniel and I headed to the library in the afternoon to join the Space Hop reading challenge. In the evening we had family home evening in the garden and talked about the importance of looking after our world by recycling. Nathaniel enjoyed some bouncing on the trampoline with Auntie Katy and Uncle Tim (they're the best).

It felt so good to spend the whole day having fun with the boys today. It was so nice to leave the work for later, and just concentrate on being a good mummy. I was glad I had the opportunity to do this, and hope that we will have many more days in the holiday that will be this fun and rewarding.
